Uganda: Government's Job Stimulus Programme is Feasible

Daily Monitor columnist Nicholas Sengoba, in an opinion piece June 21, expressed concern over the viability of the proposals in the 2011/2012 budget to address the issue of unemployment. The main subject of his concern was about giving money to the poor which he said "carries its own risk and was a cause of failure of most poverty alleviation interventions".
