Gambia: '120 NGOs Registered in Country,' Says VP Njie-Saidy

The Vice President and Minister of Women's Affairs, Dr. Aja Isatou Njie-Saidy, in responding to the question posed by NAM for Banjul South, Baboucarr Nyang, about the need to monitor the operation of Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and the number of Local and International (NGOs) that are registered in The Gambia, told members of the National Assembly that the NGO Affairs Agency since inception has registered 120 (one hundred and twenty) NGOs.
